While we were on a road trip from Tiaong Quezon to Liliw, Laguna, I sent my friend a message and asked if she could recommend a good place to eat in Liliw, Laguna. My friend lives in San Pablo, Laguna area and she is a frequent customer of slipper boutiques in Liliw. These are the list of restaurants in Liliw, Laguna that she recommended:

We went to Arabella Restaurant first, but it was full of customers. While wandering around the area in search of restaurants, we came across a signage about the opening of a Vietnamese Restaurant in Liliw.
The Vietnamese restaurant’s name is Phở HoaHồng. It is located in 108 Rizal St. Liliw. Just a few blocks away from Saint John the Baptist Parish Church.
We ordered Phở Bở (beef with rice noodle soup), Bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich) and Trà Đá (Vietnamese iced tea). We also wanted to try the spring rolls and some other food on the menu, but they were not available during that time.
Just a few months ago, we visited Hanoi, Vietnam and so we had the chance to taste the delicious Vietnamese cuisine.
The food they served in Phở HoaHồng really has the authentic Vietnamese taste. The beef phở soup is savory and the Bánh mì bread is to die for. I was impressed. I now have a new favorite Vietnamese Restaurant.
I asked the waitress how the owner came up with the idea of putting up a Vietnamese Restaurant in Liliw Laguna and she said that the wife of the Filipino (balikbayan) owner is Vietnamese. Phở means noodle soup. Hồng came from the name of the Vietnamese wife Ms. Hồng and Hoa is the twin sister of Ms. Hồng. The words Hoa and Hồng when combined together is another Vietnamese word which means “Rose”
If you are in Liliw, Laguna or nearby area and you are craving for authentic Vietnamese food, Phở HoaHồng is the place to go. They may not be included (yet) in the list of the most popular restaurant in LIliw Laguna, but they are definitely worth a try.
